The full Italian order of precedence, already in the program

Anyone starting out with protocol software usually spends the first weeks loading offices, organisations and office holders, and checking that each one sits in the right place in the order of precedence. It is long work, and one missing office is enough for the first seating plan to come out wrong.

With version 3.8.0, new installations of CerimoniereWeb start with the complete order of precedence of the Italian D.P.C.M. of 14 April 2006. That is all 121 positions in the national scope and all 75 in the territorial scope, each linked to at least one office already set up.

The registry already holds 97 organisations, 235 offices and 148 office holders. When you add a guest holding an office listed in the decree, their place in the sequence is calculated and the seating plan arranges itself accordingly. You only step in where the decree leaves room for a choice.

The preloaded data covers Italy only. Orders of precedence for other countries, and for the diplomatic corps, are set up with you during onboarding.

Contact details that do not go stale

The contact details already loaded are the private office and secretariat mailboxes of each organisation, linked to the office and not the person. They stay valid when the holder changes. Local offices arrive without a holder, ready to be completed with the names from your own city.

This data only goes into new installations automatically. Installations already in use contain your own registry, and we do not touch it without asking you. If you want to add the full decree to yours, write to us and we will load it.

Stronger passwords

Passwords must now be at least ten characters long, with a lower-case letter, an upper-case letter, a digit and a special character. The criteria can be adapted to your organisation’s rules, and the passwords you use today remain valid.

Fixes

The type of a free seat (reserved, locked, not assignable) saves correctly again. When a stretch of a row is full, the accompanying guest still stays beside the invited guest. In organisations with several sites, one user signing in no longer logs out colleagues at other sites by mistake.
