Five languages, at the entrance and on the reply page too

An ambassador receives the invitation, opens the link on a phone and finds a page in Italian. At the entrance, a member of the welcome staff who arrived with the delegation has to use an app they do not understand. In both cases the program works, but the person using it makes mistakes or asks for help.

In September CerimoniereWeb learns Catalan, which joins Italian, English, Spanish and German, and the five languages also reach the two parts of the program you do not use yourself: the entrance and the reply to the invitation.

The people greeting guests

The check-in app, used by the staff at the entrances, was only in Italian. From version 3.7.7 it came in four languages, and from 3.8.0 it comes in five. It opens in the language of the phone it runs on, with no settings to explain on the morning of the ceremony.

This helps when the welcome staff come from different backgrounds, or when a foreign delegation brings its own staff.

The people replying

With 3.8.1 the page where the guest accepts or declines also appears in their language, chosen from the browser. Someone opening it on a phone set to English or Spanish reads it in that language and finds the right button straight away.

The text of the invitation email is still whatever you write, in the language you write it in. If you are inviting a foreign delegation, prepare a template in their language.
