Invitations with a deadline, users with an end date

In the busy months it happens often: the hall is arranged, the place cards are printed, and another confirmation arrives overnight. Or the person brought in for a big event still has access six months later, because nobody remembered to remove it. We are working on two changes that deal with both.

A deadline for replies

On each ceremony you will be able to set a date and time after which replies are no longer accepted. The reply page shows the guest the deadline. Once it has passed, the link still opens but no longer records acceptances or refusals.

The point is to close the list early enough to arrange the hall and print the place cards, without finding a confirmation from overnight on the morning of the ceremony.

Time-limited access

Big events often bring in people who are not usually there: a colleague from another department, a trainee, staff from an outside company handling the welcome. You will be able to create their user with a start date and an end date, and access will close by itself, without anyone having to remember.

Representatives easier to find

When you record a representative, the search for the person attending on the guest’s behalf also looks outside your registry. The substitute sent at the last moment has often never been invited before.
