Double centre and aisle: the second dignitary on the correct side
When an aisle splits the front row, the second dignitary must sit on the correct side of it. Automatic seating now gets this right with a double centre.
Many halls have a central aisle that splits the front row in two. With a single centre, CerimoniereWeb’s automatic seating already handled it. With a double centre, the arrangement used when two dignitaries carry equal weight, the second one could end up on the wrong side of the aisle.
We have corrected the rule. If the aisle is to the left of the place of honour, the second dignitary sits on the left, across the aisle. Otherwise they sit on the right, as with a single centre. That is how a protocol office would arrange the row by hand.
The fix arrives with the next update. Until then, if you use a double centre in a hall with an aisle, check the first two seats by eye after the automatic arrangement.
Excel exports
In the same period we fixed the Excel exports: sorting by the initial of the surname is now correct, and values are checked before the file is written.
