CerimoniereWeb

A list from Excel, pasted into the seating plan

Product update

A guest list prepared in Excel can be pasted straight into the seating plan's list. And the start date of an appointment is no longer required.

The guest list often comes from outside: the vice-chancellor’s office sends its Excel file and another department adds its own rows. Copying them out by hand, name by name, is the surest way to misspell a surname.

From May you copy the list from the file and paste it into the seating plan’s guest list. The people appear in the list, ready to be placed.

Fewer required fields

The start date of an appointment is no longer required. For historic offices, or when the date cannot be found, people used to make up a date just to save the record, and the invented date then stayed in the archive.

Other spring changes

The protocol filter stays set when you go back to the people list. The protocol tree has been reworked, and the buttons for moving groups now behave as you would expect. The export of people now includes the invitation type of each appointment.
