Colour-coded sectors, attachments and hand-delivered invitations

A real hall is not just an order of precedence. There are the dignitaries, the press, the families and the delegations, each with its own area, and the ushers need to see that at a glance.

Sectors

Since this summer the seating plan can be divided into sectors, each with a name and a colour you choose. Sectors stay in the hall template and appear in the PDF printouts and in the Excel file.

Fuller invitations

Invitation emails can carry attachments, more than one PDF if needed, for example the programme or a map. The invitation itself can be printed as a PDF from a template of your choice, with fields for the venue and its address.

Not every invitation travels by email. Those delivered by hand now have their own status, “delivered by hand”, and the date of delivery is recorded all the same, so the list stays accurate for guests who received a card in an envelope as well.

Printouts for the ushers

There are now tent cards showing only the surname, and a card showing just the seat number. The reception list also includes invitations still awaiting a reply, so the staff at the door know who might turn up anyway.
